Today I went to Weight Watchers and was surprised to see that I lose 1.2 pounds. The reason I was surprised was that I took Friday night off (girls' birthday) and Easter off. I actually had a lot of junk this past week. It was good for me to see that I can still do good even if I have an off day or two.
Another fun thing was that on Tuesday morning I ran another 5K on the treadmill and beat my time by 1 1/2 minutes!! My DH and I are doing our first real 5K this Saturday. I'm kind of nervous because I have never ran outside but I know that it will be fine.
So far this week I have done 13 1/2 miles on the treadmill and it's only Wednesday! I'm going to take it easy on Thursday and Friday so my legs will feel good for Saturday. My shins started acting up again today. Time for a little break!

Hi, I too run on a treadmill now ( was bit by a large dog last year while running). Just wanted to give you a little heads up, sometimes your time will be slower running outside. I just know its a little harder with the wind, temp, and the road not making you keep pace like the treadmill(it wont let you slow down:) but you will do GREAT Im sure.Good luck.
