Since many of you have asked I wanted to share my running schedule. This is by Hal Higdon. I do not run or exercise on Sundays so I had to switch my week around a bit. I just make sure I get the running in. Because we are starting our training later this time we have to start at week 8. I have already ran the 3 miles, 6 miles, and will do the 3 miles tomorrow. Our long run will be 13 miles this Saturday or we will just do the best we can.

Except for the fact that I have been STARVING this week, things seem to be going well. I am back to my marathon training and I am loving it and hating it at the same time!! Is that even possible?
This past Monday I ran for 3 miles, yesterday I rested and today I ran 6 miles. The 6 miles didn't even kill me!! I could have probably ran another 2 miles today. It must have been the protein bar I ate before the workout. It seemed to have helped.
I went to Weight Watchers this morning and I lost 2.6 pounds. Yea me!!! That is quite an accomplishment. I guess I have to feel hunger sometimes. When I get to the point where I am never hungry then I need to worry. That means that I am snacking too much.
I hope you are all having a GREAT week!! Tomorrow I am going to run another 3 miles, then rest on Friday and attempt to run 13 miles on Saturday. Wish me luck!!

Okay here is what I have been able to accomplish this week with running.
Monday - ran 4 miles
Wednesday - ran 5 miles
Thursday - ran 2 miles
The counting points has not been going well for me. I will be honest. I do GREAT for the first half of the day and then get sooo hungry at night that I just throw it all out the window. I am not giving up or giving in. I just need to try harder. Plus, I am an emotional eater and we have been having some challenges with some of our children lately. I just go in my office and have stuff I shouldn't be eating.
What am I going to do about all of this??? Well, my husband and I have decided that we are going to run our next marathon in April in Louisville, Kentucky. If you live near there and would like to come and cheer us on we would love that!!! My training starts officially on Monday with a long run the following Saturday. My back is still sore but much better. Hopefully the running won't make it worse. After I ran 5 miles this week my back felt great by that night.
I went to weight watchers this week to weigh in and I was at 129.2. My lifetime goal is 125 so I was not lifetime this week. I will work on that for next week.
So, for today I have had 1 FiberOne Chocolate bar for 2 points. I am going to drink a lot of water. Have a big salad with a sandwich for lunch. Fruit & veggies for snacks, and a dinner of a frozen meal. I can do this!!!
My point goal for each day before working out is 20 points. The more I run, the more points I get.

Okay, I am serious this time!!! I am not going to gain back my weight, even though it has been slowly creeping back. I am fighting this!!!! I started counting my Weight Watchers points this morning and I am going to go to my meeting this Wednesday.
I also start my marathon training today. Even though my back is still sore from where I fell down the stairs 2 weeks ago. I ran on the treadmill 4 miles!!! I wasn't able to do it all at a super fast pace like I used to but I feel like I am kind of starting over. I also ran 3 miles on Saturday. Tomorrow I am going to do the bike or elliptical machine. Wednesday I will try to run 5 miles. Thursday I will do the bike, rest on Friday and then attempt a long run on Saturday.
I hope you all are doing well!!
