Yesterday I did the most I have ever done in one hour on my treadmill. I ran/walked 4.38 miles and burned 675 calories!!! My legs hurt so bad last night because I did some of the running at an incline, which I usually only do walking. Our big 5K is this Saturday and I hope I am ready for it. The weather is supposed to be nice so I will just bring my headphones and hope for the best. I am so super excited to get a T-shirt!!!!
I have to make a comment on some of the comments I received on my last post. I just want to say that I was very happy before I started this journey but just not happy with my body. I have always been known to be very bubbly and excited. I think that my before picture was just taken on an off day. I don't want anyone to get the impression that I was a down and depressed person before because I was not at all. I just had some body issues and energy issues. Of course, I do feel HAPPIER now but I was still happy back then. Did that make sense??
Today I am going to go to the gym and work out. I will be taking my boys to Mother's Day Out in a few minutes so I will just work out on their treadmill and bike today. I then have to come home and get caught up on my laundry. It's funny how that multiplies when you are sick!!
Hope you all have an incredible day!!

I can totally relate to what you're saying about happiness. For so many years I allowed my weight to dictate whether I was happy or sad. The stress of needing to lose weight was actually causing me to over eat. I finally decided to quit dieting. I'm a little older (lot) than you but only in numbers. I will always be young at heart. I decided to change the way I cook and concentrate on being healthy. I also took up gardening which is my "gym". The lawn mower is my treadmill. I hate actual exercise so I found something that I enjoy. I am slowly losing weight and happier with myself since I quit letting numbers control me. You look amazing and you've always come across as a happy woman that loves her family. I love your videos. For some reason you are the only person that can explain Cricut and make it actually easy to understand. I appreciate every second you've devoted to the craft. Good luck on the last few pounds. They're supposed to be the hardest but you'll get it done. Thanks for sharing so much of your personal journey with us.
