Week 1 - Day 2

Hello Everyone!

How was day 2 for you guys??  I did just fine but had my dentist appointment today instead of yesterday.  I needed to get two new crowns and although my husband is a dentist, I am the worst patient for a dentist!  LOL!!  My entire bottom half of my face was completely numb for about 4-5 hours!!  That really helped with eating since I couldn't eat anything.  I made myself a smoothie tonight and still have a little bit more that I can eat if I am still feeling hungry.

Hope day 2 is successful for you all!

  1. Today wasn't great. I had a cheese burger and o-rings! But I did work out so I still met my calorie goal for today. I got registered for the UBC and got my kick boxing gloves and hand wraps!

  2. I am a chiropractor and our patients love us so much that they bring us goodies all the time. So, cookies were at my disposal today. Ate a couple, but made it to Zumba class. I usually burn almost 1000 calories at Zumba. So I made up for it.

  3. I put the Spark People app on my phone so food/exercise tracking is easier. So far, so good.

Hope your jaw is feeling better! I have some numbness in my hip and I'm thinking it might be shingles :(

  5. I am not doing that well. I have been sick and looking for comfort food. I have had a hand full of chips both days, but limited it to the handful, so that is pretty good for me. I believe I was still within my calories yesterday, but doubtful for today. I forgot to track yesterday :( I am hoping that once I start cleanse on Monday that I will be more disciplined.

If you would like to email me at m s s t o e n @ r u n e s t o n e . net - i would love to help or do this for us!!

  7. So Robyn, did you decide to do weight watchers? I have been on it 3 times and lost 50 plus...but the same 50 plus...so that was discouraging to gain it back...so a few years ago, decided to never give them another cent, lol. I'm really liking "my fitness pal" and best part it's free.

  8. I would love to have a place where we could share recipes. I made a great mushroom leek soup the other night. I only down fall was the butter it was saute in but divided by 3 wasn't bad

  9. I haven't been going to the gym because of my Plantar fasciitis. I have been tracking my calories through My Fitness Pal on my phone and it's been going well. I know I shouldn't weigh myself every day, but I did anyway. Second day I gained a pound, the third day I gained another pound, but did some work and before I ate breakfast I weighed again and I was down 1/2 lb from my starting weight. Weird! My in-laws were her celebrating a late Christmas and they took out out to dinner. I tried to be good, but went over that day. Jumped on the scale today and I'm down 2lb from starting weight!! Woo Hoo!!

  10. Well, so far so good. Started at 150 last Tues. and down to 146.6 this morning. Zumba, Treadmill, and elliptical. I'm not sure if others can related, but I am 45 and starting to skip my periods. I believe I am slipping into menopause. I still have water retention and and weight gain around 'that time' of the month, which is making it hard to loose weight.
