Week 2 - Weigh In!

Hey Everyone!

It's time to check in!  How did you all do on your first week??  I didn't do as well as I would have liked to.  Life got in the way, I got busy, I didn't eat the best every day.  That's just life.  Here are my deets:

Week 2 Weight:

147.2 (- 1.6 pounds)

Exercise:

I was horrible this week with exercise!  My kids went back to school on Monday, so I did a lot of stuff that I do not do with 5 little kids underfoot.  :)

  1. I gained a pound and a half. :( but I was eating total junk this week. We went out with family to celebrate my birthday and also out for our anniversary. Both occasions included alcoholic beverages and not the best choice for food. I did some good work outs though. I cleaned out my house! Hauled out lots of stuff to sell and be donated. Boxes and boxes full of heavy things. And I moved all my furniture around. I worked up a HUGE sweat! I also did some more conventional workouts as well. I start the Ultimate Body Challenge on Sunday and I am so excited!

  2. I gained a pound for no reason! I'm staying in my calorie goals, and I started a new job that includes 3 flights of stairs. I need to get to the gym more! Maybe it's a pound of girly water weight?!

  3. I am down 0.9 pounds. Pretty good considering I was really sick Friday - Tuesday. Vertigo has to be the worst feeling I have ever experienced. Anyhow I feel better and got back to the gym yesterday, hope to keep it up through the week. Good going Robyn!!

  4. I'm at 146.6 as of this morning. Down from 150. The water retention is a problem for me. I can tell I am really bloated right now. I did well with exercise, but I am still sneaking sweets every now and again. Otherwise, not to bad.

  6. I weighed 144.9 this morning so I am down 2.1 pounds. I could have done without the chocolate meringue pie at work yesterday. I am definitely needing to get to the gym a little more next week. Everyone keep up the good work!

  7. I did pretty good this week. I exercised every day except for the time I attended a funeral and Winter Jam. I am eating good but having a hard time eating the whole 1200 calories allotted. It keeps telling me I'm starving myself lol. I have lost 3 lbs so far.

  8. I am down 0.8 lb. I have to work on my discipline...I just never seem to get that you can't make any slip ups to lose weight.

  10. I lost 5 pounds but I totally changed how I was eatting. I went from lots of Christmas party's and lots of desserts to just fruits and veggies. So their was reason my body responded quickly.

  11. I'm down 2.3 for the week. No exercise to speak of, but that's the life I'm living for the next 5 weeks. Figure if I can loose without the exercise, I'll do even better when I can add it back in. Great job everyone!

  12. I'm down 1.2! I was so excited to see the 180s again!!! I have been trying to stick to calorie budget and making good choices. I have been to the gym every day except Sunday and Monday. Feeling soar but great!! Thanks Robin for doing this :)

  13. I'm down 5.2 yay not sure how that happened. I have been still tracking what i eat and that makes me aware of where I need to make changes.

  15. I lost 2 lbs. I went from 145.5 to 143.5. I have to watch the weekends. I'm fine through the week.

  16. I went from 159.4 to 152.6. Yay! I know though that it was my first week and now I can expect maybe a pound a week....we will see! But I did do awesome on my calories and exercise. Way to go Robyn on your weight loss !

  17. I forgot to check in on Wednesday, but as of this morning I weigh 146 which means I am down 5lbs. I started a cleanse on Monday, so I must have lost mostly water weight. I am on day 6 of the cleanse - 15 more days to go.....then I can start exercising. Way to go everyone! We all had a pretty good start.

  18. I'm just now checking in....down a lb. but it's been longer than a week since I checked. I haven't started my walking routine yet....sticking to my 1200 cal. a day or over as I don't like getting that message you get when you're under....too bad it doesn't bug you when you don't exercise,lol.

  21. as of yesterday, I was 144.4. Today was 145.2 but I drank a lot of water and ate later than usual last night. Exercising is going well. Zumba kicked my butt last week. A lot of fast paced jumping. But, better this week.

I found your blog after I got my baby bug for Christmas & was searching the web for one idea or another & have watched several of your videos... the make over where you say 'see my CricutS' is by far my fav. I wont go in to what I need to lose...lets just say...it's A LOT!! I don't know what I weigh since I don't have a scale & afraid if I walk in to a WW & make it official, I'll fall off the wagon. I have been following the program with no slips for almost 2 weeks. Hopefully we'll support each other!!

  23. Thank you, Robyn, for doing this!! I am checking in for the first time. Down 2.4lbs from last week, woo hoo!! Eating right but need to exercise. I'm doing WW online. I've been at it since Nov. 1st and am down 11.6lbs. overall. I'll do better with this type of support. We're here with ya!!

  24. Is it too late to join the Pink Loser Challenge? I'm doing WW weekly meetings but need some encouragement throughout the week. I have lost 9.2 pounds since December 28th and my next weigh in is Thursday, January 24th. Would love to be a part of this great supportive community.

  25. Hi Robyn, I hope everyone is feeling better soon. I hope you will continue this challenge. I'm so in! I signed up for MFP on Jan 1st and just realized you had this blog too. I've lost 7.2 pounds so far (Yes! I am counting that .2 pounds LOL). My goal is to lose 40 pounds. One day at a time - right?!   34. We're into week 9 and I'm down 9.5#, actually 25 since I started in Nov. Still using MFP and just discovered Striiv. It's fantastic...monitors every step and is very motivational. It's free too! Robyn, hope UR doing well since we haven't heard from u in a while.

  37. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the page layout of your blog?
    Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in
    the way of content so people could connect with it better.
    Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures.
