Day 3 - Week 1

Hello Everyone!

It is day 3 and I am still sticking with the plan.  I did not go to the Weight Watchers meeting today as I am going to try to do it on my own with your support.  I know how to do the plan, it is just "doing" it that is the hard part.

This morning after I dropped off my kids I went to the gym and got on the treadmill.  I ran at a 6.0 for one mile and then I did a walking interval.  It was super hard but I realized that this is something I CAN do instead of running like a mad woman.  My legs feel great now and I burned a ton of calories!

Yep, that's right!  I burned 700 calories mostly walking on the treadmill in about 1 hour and 5 minutes!!  My incline was at 21-27% most of the time but my speed was only 2.0.  Isn't that incredible!!  So.....  if you don't have access to the gym or a treadmill, go and find a very steep hill and walk it!!

You guys might think I am strange but I LOVE to sweat when I am working out.  It shows me just how hard my body is working and how it is getting rid of unwanted junk!  Here is a back view of my shirt.  Just wanted to share.  LOL!
The only problem is that I cannot find my WW book and I need to figure out how many pointsplus I earned for a high intensity workout for an hour!  Anyone??

  9. If you have a smart phone check out the free weight watcher's app! It will calculate it all (food, weight, activity..) with the old or the new point system.. When looking for it to download put in the search "weight watchers and it will be the free app with the most stars next to it. I love it!
