Going well!

Except for the fact that I have been STARVING this week, things seem to be going well. I am back to my marathon training and I am loving it and hating it at the same time!! Is that even possible?

This past Monday I ran for 3 miles, yesterday I rested and today I ran 6 miles. The 6 miles didn't even kill me!! I could have probably ran another 2 miles today. It must have been the protein bar I ate before the workout. It seemed to have helped.

I went to Weight Watchers this morning and I lost 2.6 pounds. Yea me!!! That is quite an accomplishment. I guess I have to feel hunger sometimes. When I get to the point where I am never hungry then I need to worry. That means that I am snacking too much.

I hope you are all having a GREAT week!! Tomorrow I am going to run another 3 miles, then rest on Friday and attempt to run 13 miles on Saturday. Wish me luck!!

  1. Good luck Robyn. I'm proud of ya. I like what you said about if you're never hungry then you must be snacking too much. That's me. I'm never hungry and the thought of being hungry scares me. I think you just opened my eyes. You're doing very well. You're a blessing to me. Take care. You'll do great.

  3. Congrats on your weight loss, sadly I only lost .8, but dag-gome-it, it's a start! Right?! Just remember to drink enough fluids. Sometimes our bodies are saying "I'm thirsty" instead of "I'm hungry". Keep it up! You're doing great!!!!!

  5. Hi Robyn, I've been a Pink Stamper follower for over a year now, and I always am in awe of you...being mom to 5, super crafter and marathon runner! Every time I read about you training for an upcoming marathon I feel so lazy, but I can't even run for 10 minutes without dying! I can walk for miles, but I have never been able to run.
Well, tonight I finally browsed this blog. Can I just say WAY TO GO!!!! I went to your first post and followed your journey to get where you are...I am now so motivated! Just reading your posts when you started really has hit home with me. I am the same weight you were when you started...and my goal has always been 125 pounds, the closest I came was 130 for my wedding 10 years ago. Now 2 kids later I feel tired all the time and am just plain out of excuses! I am going to give it an honest try this time, and now whenever I feel too tired or too sore, I'm going to read your early posts on this blog to help get me through it. I'm so glad I clicked that Pink Loser link!
