So we did it! We are officially registered for the Top of Utah Marathon in September. I have 9 weeks to train. This past week I was under the weather......... again........... so I was unable to run or even had a desire to run. Today is Monday and I am going to start fresh.

  1. Robyn - that is such a great accomplishment! You have been an inspiration to me - I just finished my second 5k yesterday. I can't imagine training for a marathon! You will do great!! Off to check out your new blog....

  2. Congratulations! I am sorry no one was there to cheer you on. Come run a marathon in Independence, MO and I will come out and cheer you on! I need to lose some weight too but lost 5 lbs and it found me again. Need to start over. You are an inspiration! You go girl! Donna

  3. Hi Robyn - I found this site through your Pink Stamper site which I found though You Tube watching Cricut videos...whew - that was a long introduction. I just wanted to tell you that I went back to the beginning of your journey and have read all your postings...I am SO happy for you girl! I was always slender until 2 years ago when my mom got diagnosed with cancer...since then she has passed away and I have gained 20lbs. I know it's not much to some but it's enough for me to NOT feel comfortable in my clothes and with my self image these days. I have been thinking seriously about getting ON the band wagon and eating healthier and exercising. Unfortunately, I fell down a flight of stairs last year and tore up my whole right side...I was dealing with my mom so I didn't go to the doctor for 6 months. Now I am having trouble when I exercise...urgh. You've been an inspiration to me and I've decided that I'm GOING to do this. I'm not sure I'll be running any marathons but I'm also going to begin another blog to track my journey. I see so much of myself in your postings. I used to LOVE getting up at 5:45 every morning to work out at Curves...I'm near St. Louis, MO - please let me know if you ever come here to run and I'll come and cheer you on. You look GREAT...Thanks for tracking your progress so others like me can get inspired!
