Hi everyone!
I just wanted to check in and let you know how I've been doing! I have noticed lately that one thing that I am gaining is ENDURANCE. Just a little over 2 months ago I could barely walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes. I am happy to say that I can now do 4 miles a DAY on my treadmill and not be totally exhausted afterwords. That is a MAJOR milestone for me. I really cannot believe it! The funny thing is that I actually enjoy it now and look forward to my morning workouts!! I did 4 miles this morning, 4 miles on Saturday, and 4 miles on Friday!!!! WOW, is all I can say!
Here is my deep thought to share........... I honestly didn't think that I could do it in the beginning. I have always had the excuse that I could not run because of this or that. I just didn't want to push myself and try to climb that hill for fear. Fear of what, I cannot tell you but I just didn't think I could do it.
I heard a great quote from one of the episodes from The Biggest Loser, it went something like............ "To say you'll try is to give up with honor". Wow, that is very deep!! I don't want to give up. I want to do it!!
I hope you all are doing FABULOUS! My mom is here visiting and she is also doing WW. We are leaving for Branson, MO in a couple of days and are going to have a blast!! I'll check in when I return. We are staying at some condos that have a workout room so I will still be able to get my daily workout in. Thank goodness!
