Hello Everyone!
Wow! I have missed this blog but I definitely need it now. Today I am making a commitment to get healthy. I know it's weird starting on Halloween with all the other holidays coming up but that doesn't mean I cannot enjoy them, I just need to have moderation. So here we go.... starting completely over!
Week 1
Weight - 148.8 (Can you believe I was at 117 after I ran the marathon 2 years ago?)
Today's Exercise
Singles tennis with friend for 1 1/2 hours. I ALMOST beat her!!! We were running all over the court.
I am doing the Weight Watchers plan still so I have 29 points plus extra for tennis.
Here is a picture from this week. I will try to post a new one every week. I usually gain the weight in my middle and in my face.
Leave a comment here if you are doing it with me!!! Good luck everyone. We can do this! Get up and get moving!

Starting Over - Week 1!!
Hey everyone!
Okay, I officially started doing Weight Watchers AGAIN and exercising this past Monday. I thought I would also make sure I journal everything over here for those of you who want to do it with me again. If you would like to read my entire journey from before when I lost close to 50 pounds (10 was when I had H1N1 so I don't really count it) just go to the beginning of this blog.
Weight: 147.6 (I've gained 10 pounds since my last post!)
Exercise:
Monday: Ran 1 mile at 5.0, walked 1/4 of a mile, Ran another mile at 5.0, walked another 1/4 mile, upper body workout with weights. 100 abdominal exercises.
Total: 2 miles ran, 1/2 mile walked
Tuesday: Ran 2 miles at 5.0 - 6.1, Walked 1 mile
Wednesday: 6 miles on the bike going 90 rpm's, elip. machine 10 minutes (1 mile)
Today: Ran 3 miles in 31 minutes at 5.5 - 6.2!! So excited to be running again! Walked 1 mile. Lifted weights for upper body.
So, those of you who have been following me know that I have severe Plantar Fasciitis, which is REALLY painful! I have gone to therapy, have custom insols, etc. I just have to stretch really good. I also just purchased these AWESOME socks that I sleep in at night called Strassburg Socks. Here's a pic of how silly they look. I don't know why but when I wear them I get the Pippy Longstocking song stuck in my head! LOL!

I highly recommend this sock to anyone who is having problems with tight calves, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, etc. I noticed the difference in one day!! I am going to continue to wear them every night.
GOAL: Run a 10K on the 4th of July in Utah. It will be my 3rd year in a row if I am up to it! Anyone in Utah want to do it with me??

Week 1 - Day 4
Hi Everyone!
I am just finishing day 4 and I am really proud of myself. Besides a little chocolate tonight (which I will use my bonus points for) I have stayed within my limit everyday. I have this TERRIBLE stomach thing going on while my body is adjusting to the fiber from all the fruit, whole grains, etc. but that will get better. I kind of remember this last time, too.
I know I said I wasn't going to weigh myself until next Wednesday but I stepped on the scale tonight just to see if I had lost anything and I have. I will not tell you the amount until next Wednesday. Remember that I have had stomach issues (LOL) which is some of the weight loss.
Here is what I've eaten today. Normally I don't eat two microwave meals in one day due to the sodium content but my husband made dinner that wasn't the best choice and I had one handy.
Breakfast:
Banana - 0 Points
WW Vanilla Oatmeal - 3 Points
Vitalicious Vitatop Chocolate Muffin - 3 Points
Lunch:
Pineapple: 0 Points
Pita from Healthy Choice: 8 Points
Fiber One Bar: 4 Points
Apple: 0 Points
Dinner:
Sugar Free Hot Apple Cider - 0 Points
Lean Cuisine - 5 Points
Ice Cream Skinny Cow - 4 Points
Beef Jerky - 1 Point
1 Stick of Pez - 1 Point
I know that I should have had more veggies today. I will do better tomorrow. I also had a ton of water today which I really needed since my body is losing a lot of fluids trying to adjust.
How are you all doing???

Starting Over. Week 1, Day 1
Hi Everyone!
Here I go again! I am completely starting almost over with Weight Watchers. I am 15 pounds above my Lifetime weight of 125 pounds. I got down a lot lower than that during my marathon training but realistically I am good for my height at 125.
I promised I would post some beginning pics again this time. Not very flattering but I've just got to do it. I will post pics every week after I weigh in. Next Wednesday will be the beginning of week 2 for me. I went today because I wanted to get started on the new WW program right away but I don't get weighed in again until next Wednesday.
Week 1:
Weight: 140.2 (YIKES!)
First goal: 130 (by CHA at the end of January)
Next goal: 125 (by Cricut Cruise at the end of February)
Thoughts:
I never thought that I would gain back some of the 50 pounds I lost but I did and if I'm not careful I am going to gain it all back. It started when I got Plantar Fasciitis and had to stop running. I know that I can do other exercises but it is totally mental with me. I lost 50 pounds the year I was training for my marathon and in my mind that is what I relate to my weight loss. I am going to try super hard to get it in my head that I CAN BE SUCCESSFUL with other exercising. I also am a very emotional eater and I have been eating at night when I am having a hard time getting my 5 kids to sleep. I need to find a solution to that eating, too.
Exercise: None today but getting up bright and early in the am to meet a friend at the gym.
Please comment and share what you are doing on your journey.

This is great faith and enduring....
I don't know if any of you have been following Stephanie's story but her and her husband were in an airplane accident. Her life changed so much afterwards and she became a great pillar of strength to so many, including myself. Here is a video that our church put together about her story. It is amazing.
